I am so happy with how this whole thing turned out. The book was ordered and delivered all within 5 days. I even got a nice hand written note. I am heading to Vet Tech school soon and hope this helps a lot.

This book is fantastic. As a CVT for 15 years, there is stuff I just do not remember. This book is so much easier. Everything you need is here. There are some specialty things that aren't in here (dental, ER) so if you're wanting to learn more on those, I recommend her other books for those. This book goes thru everything from abbreviations to reading EKGs, pictures & explanations of surgical tools. Prevention, dosages, anesthesia & about 87 other things. I've done this a long time and it's arguably one of the best vet books (arguably even a textbook. This breaks it down in Layman's Terms). The only way this could be better is if the pages were laminated or something. I can see the pages tearing and getting wet or messed up. Its vet medicine. It gets messy.

Thank you for your detailed review! So happy you love the book! Maybe one day we can offer laminated pages.

First I must say shipping was top tier in my opinion with this product. I ordered Sunday, it officially shipped Monday and arrived on Wednesday. I work as a Vet Assistant and plan on finishing my schooling to become an LVT. The DVM that I assist with prefers the notes to be technical. Although I had prior knowledge, it was the standard in some areas so this has helped me understand my DVM better and strengthen my areas of weakness. I also enjoy the fact that in some areas of the book there are notes (ex:common eye medications) that list the common name of some medications and other brand names it would be under. This is helpful for me because each clinic have their own medications that they decide to order and having to learn new inventory names can be confusing for me. This also has a lot of the notes that I learned previously but my notes were scattered everywhere so it's great to finally have it all in one place. This will definitely help me out even more too when I am able to go back and finish my education! Thank you very much.

Wonderful to hear from you! Best of luck in your career!

This book is by far the best Veterinary book i own now. I already know that i will be using this a lot. Eventually the information will stick and even if it doesn't I'll be able to go back to it. It came fast as well. I cant wait to show it off to my fellow Vet tech classmates and encourage them to get this book as well.

We are so happy to hear how much you enjoy the book!! Thank you for your review.

Poorly organized. Not sure what audience this is aimed at. Poor content consistency, illustrations are primitive, and it is simply impossible to find anything quickly.

Hi Sandy,

I'm sorry to hear that the Ultimate Veterinary Notes Bundle wasn't what you expected.

To be clear, this book is not intended as a general-interest animal health book, which is why I strongly encourage customers to review the product description and sample pages before purchasing.

I do want to clarify a few things for anyone reading this review and deciding whether this book is right for them.

You wrote that you were “not sure what audience this is aimed at.” The product description specifically states that the book was created for **veterinarians, veterinary technicians/nurses, and veterinary students** looking for a quick, visual way to review common clinical concepts.

I've received very few one-star reviews on this book, so I did want to understand your background in veterinary medicine. I learned that you are not a veterinary professional, but a former technology entrepreneur who now owns a Turkey Farm. That may help explain why a resource created specifically for veterinary professionals and students did not resonate with you.

You also described the illustrations as “primitive.” The simple, visual educational style is intentional—and has actually become a recognizable part of my work. It's the same style that has helped me build a community of more than 175,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 60,000 on Facebook, many of whom follow me specifically for this type of visual veterinary education.

This is not an AI-generated book or a traditionally designed medical textbook. **I personally created the notes, charts, diagrams, and illustrations based on my years of experience as a veterinarian.** My goal isn't elaborate graphic design. It's to take complicated veterinary concepts and make them easier to understand, review, and remember.

For that same reason, every page does not follow an identical visual template. Different subjects are presented differently depending on what I believe best communicates the information. The handmade, colorful, simplified style you didn't care for is actually one of the things many veterinary professionals and students tell me they love about my resources.

I do, however, appreciate your criticism about finding information quickly. The book covers more than 40 veterinary topics, and while it includes a table of contents, I agree that a detailed alphabetical index could make it an even better clinical reference. That's useful feedback, and it's something I plan to consider for a future edition.

No educational resource or learning style will appeal to everyone. Thousands of veterinary professionals and students have used and loved these notes for studying, reviewing concepts, and working in clinical practice. I'm very proud that something I originally created to make veterinary medicine easier to understand has helped so many others do the same.

It's more detailed than I expected. Pages are a little thin. Over all very pleased with the books love them better then the download version I got when I thought I was buying these.

This is an amazing study guide! it is very colorful and easy to read. Very well organized and easy to follow the science and diagnosis. I really enjoy how all the disease are explained in detail and how to distinguish between similar ones. Over all love this notebook and will use it in clinics and studying for NAVLE!
